or $990 a year — two months free
Locked in for as long as your subscription stays active. The first 10 shops keep this rate however much the product grows — cancel and come back later, though, and the rate resets to list price. It is applied automatically at checkout while spots remain; there is no code to enter.
The exact number of spots left is shown when you sign up.
Standard
$149/ month
or $1,490 a year — two months free
The list price, and the one on the sign that stays up. Same product, same features, same support — this is simply what it costs once the founding 10 are taken.
Monthly or annual is a billing choice, not a plan.
Both cards buy the identical product. The only difference between them is when you signed up — there is no smaller plan below this and no bigger one above it, and no feature on this page is an add-on.

The short version
One price, one subscription, ever
Most shop software prices in tiers, and the tier you need is never the one on the billboard. The inspection module is on the middle plan, texting is metered, a second advisor costs another seat, and the labor guide that makes the estimates usable is a separate bill from a separate company. Shops end up paying $300–$400 a month and still hearing "that's on the bigger plan."
BayDocket has one price because it has one product. There is no plan to outgrow, so there is nothing to upsell you later — and nothing we can quietly move behind a paywall once you depend on it.

What you won't be charged for
- Per-user fees. Every advisor and technician is included. Hiring does not raise your bill.
- Setup or onboarding fees. You sign up and start writing tickets — and if you're coming off another system, we move your customers, vehicles, and repair order history for you at no extra cost.
- Contracts. Monthly renews monthly. Annual renews annually. Neither locks you in for a year of nothing.
- Feature add-ons. Inspections, texting, scheduling, inventory, and reports are the product, not modules.
- A cut of your card payments. Your shop is the merchant of record; Stripe's fee is Stripe's, and we add nothing on top of it.
- Your own data. Cancelling makes the shop read-only, not locked — your records stay yours to read, print, and download as CSV, even while cancelled.
Pricing questions
Is there a free trial?
No — on purpose. Instead of a countdown there is a live demo shop: fully loaded with real-looking repair orders, inspections, and invoices, open right now at demo.baydocket.com/try with no signup and no card. Each demo shop resets after a few hours, and you can start a fresh one whenever you want — so nothing is counting down on your decision.
What happens if I cancel?
Your shop switches to read-only. Every repair order, invoice, inspection photo, and customer record stays exactly where it is and stays readable and printable — nothing is deleted, and nothing is held hostage to get you to re-subscribe. You can also download a CSV of your customers, vehicles, repair orders, invoices, and payments at any time, including while cancelled. Subscribe again later and the whole shop unlocks untouched.
Do you charge per user or per seat?
No. Invite the whole shop — owner, service advisors, and every technician — at no extra cost. The price is per shop, and it does not change as you hire. Adding someone is a QR code or a link they open on their own phone: they scan it, pick a password, and they are in. No seat to buy, no IT setup, and nothing to install.
Are texting and card payments extra?
No. Carrier-registered two-way texting, photo inspections, and text-to-pay are the product, not add-ons. On card payments your shop is the merchant of record: Stripe’s processing fee comes out of your own payout, and BayDocket takes no cut of it.
How does the founding-shop rate work?
$99 a month, or $990 a year, for the first 10 shops that subscribe. The rate holds for as long as your subscription stays continuously active — it survives ordinary plan changes and price increases. It does not survive a lapse: cancel and later restart, and the then-current list price applies instead. It is applied automatically at checkout while spots remain; there is no code to enter and nothing to ask for. Once the 10 are taken, the price is the standard $149 a month or $1,490 a year.
Is there a contract, a setup fee, or an onboarding fee?
None of the three, and no cancellation fee either. Monthly renews monthly and annual renews annually — that is the whole commitment.
What happens if a payment fails?
The app keeps working while your card is retried over the following days, and you get a banner telling you what is going on. Nothing shuts off in the middle of a repair because a card expired.
